HOW IT WORKS

What happens after I place my order?

Once you have chosen the item of jewellery you would like and have checked out on the website, your order is then in progress.
If you haven’t added your colour choice in the notes section then we can discuss this via the contact section.
If you require a postal pack for ashes/hair or a ring sizer please add this to your order this as well. Alternatively you can follow the advice for ‘sending your precious inclusions’

If I don’t have your item in stock then I order it in and check it over for small dents and scratches, which if there are any they will be prepared and polished ready to perfection.

When I receive the  hair/ashes of your loved one I will contact you immediately to confirm their safe arrival. They are labelled with your name and they are kept safely with your piece of jewellery ready to be made.
I will then send you a photo which shows your chosen jewellery with your loved ones hair/ashes so that you can see and be guaranteed that your loved one is in your piece of jewellery. I personally feel this is better than a ‘certified’ name card.
I personally make all of your jewellery with gentle care and respect. I strive for perfection and this sometimes takes longer than expected but I will keep you updated along the way.

Your jewellery is made using the best quality UV resin. Over time this can sometimes turn a hue of yellow. Especially when exposed to bright sunlight for long periods of time.  This is something that can not be helped. It will eventually happen with all types of resin. I am currently using the most expensive type of UV resin available which will help your jewellery to last as long as possible.
Your jewellery and any unused inclusions will be returned to you via next day special delivery which is insured for up to £500.
Your beautiful and very precious memorial jewellery is now ready to be worn.

SENDING YOUR PRECIOUS INCLUSIONS.

After placing your order via the website please post your precious hair/ashes to me here:

Ashley’s Ashes. 63 Studley Rise, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, Ba140pd.

You can use your own small press seal bag or similar if you do not wish to wait for the free postal pack.

Please use first class signed for as a minimum which will need to be weighed and measured at the post office.

Please remember to include your name and return address.

If you are sending ashes I only require a teaspoon amount, this will be enough to make several items if required.

Please don’t send me all of the hair that you have as it is so precious, should it get lost in the post it is irreplaceable.

I will contact you as soon as your precious encasements arrive safely with me here.
